Essential fatty acids in the form of EPA and DHA are contained in Krill Oil and fish oil. However, krill oil has the benefit of being more bioavailable compared to standard fish oils. That’s because the key difference between krill oil and fish oil is that krill oil contains its omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) primarily bound to phospholipids, which are readily absorbed by the body without further processing, while fish oil stores these fatty acids in triglycerides, requiring additional steps to access and utilize them. Krill Oil also contains the antioxidant astaxanthin, whereas fish oil does not.

Compared to fish oil, Krill Oil is thought to have a less fishy aftertaste, making it easier to take daily. Dynamic Krill Oil is also a pleasant-tasting lemon-coated soft gel capsule.

Each Stonehenge Health Dynamic Krill Oil bottle contains a one-month supply of 60 easy-to-swallow soft gel capsules. We recommend taking two soft gels, one time per day, ideally 20-30 minutes before a meal, with an 8-ounce glass of water.
